  Mexico (and probably Latin and South America too received a special version of the Mustang which was often a cross between the US Capri and the US Mustang...but with some special touches not available to the US.

1983 Mexican Mustang Hatchback.  -  Pretty much a normal looking Capri.

      

1984 Mexican Mustang Hatchback. - Now with the Mustang nose.
